Position Details

Are you passionate about research that has an impact for local industries and our communities? Do you want to see research applied in action in the classroom and in the workforce? We are seeking passionate and capable people with the relevant skills and experience to advise, support and grow our staff in their research capacity.

In this role, you will join a dynamic and supportive team within the Teaching and Learning Directorate who get alongside staff and guide them in their teaching innovation and research activities. We have grown our research capability to date; your role will continue this work and will enable our research to have an impact where it matters most.

The successful candidate must possess the following:

• Post-graduate qualification with an established research record
• Experience working in a tertiary education environment
• A demonstrated understanding of PBRF and other funding mechanisms available for researchers in Aotearoa NZ
• Strong relationship and networking skills
• Experience in supporting, guiding and enabling others to achieve research results
• A passion for seeing the results of applied research benefitting industries, communities and the outcomes of Aotearoa New Zealanders
