We are seeking Design Tutors or Honours Graduates in the area of Digital Media, Communication Design or Creative Technologies to join our Whitireia China teaching teams.

The position involves travelling with another design tutor to deliver curriculum to our partner institutions in two locations in China, one in Hunan and the other in Hangzhou. You would be teaching undergraduate Visual Communication Design students at Year 1, 2 or 3. Subject areas include, animation, web design, publication, illustration. We are seeking flexibility to undertake either 4, 6 or 7 week teaching places, once or two times a year (March-June, and Sept-Dec). Hours vary according to the institution but range between a total of 80-100hrs per teaching stint. Some travel experience would be preferable, but not mandatory.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:
1. Specific skills in Adobe software (ID, AI, AE, PS).
2. Conceptual skills to deliver and in some cases adapt curriculum for the China context.
3. A sense of humour to expect the unexpected.
