Nursing Tutor Opportunities (Fixed Term)

Part-Time (0.8 FTE) – August 2026 to August 2027

Full-Time – July 2026 to December 2026

Due to an internal secondment and parental leave, we have two fixed-term opportunities to join our team.

We are seeking two Nursing Tutors:

• One full-time position from July to December 2026
• One part-time position (0.8 FTE / 30 hours per week) from August 2026 to August 2027

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for two Bachelor of Nursing Tutors to support our nursing programme. These roles involve teaching and assessing students across a range of nursing disciplines, supporting their development into confident, capable health professionals.

 

About You

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:

 

• A nursing practice background in either: mental health, aged care, acute care, and/or primary health care
• A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• The ability to work collaboratively within a wider School of Nursing team
• Current New Zealand nursing registration, a valid Annual Practising Certificate, and a full New Zealand driver’s licence
• A genuine passion for supporting, educating, and inspiring ākonga (learners)
